The Kenfig Heritage Project website is a permanent online resource with its content being updated on a regular basis. The Kenfig website attracts in excess of 2 million visitors a year on average.

Kenfig - The Complete History (e-Resource)
The kenfig.org website was established by its owner Mr Rob Bowen in March 2003 - its initial concept was devised in the year 2000 during a course of study in Web Publishing at Cardiff University. The website was turned into a not for profit organisation known as Kenfig.org Local Community Group in March 2004 due to the impact the site was having on the immediate local communities.

Kenfig - The Complete History (e-Resource)
The Kenfig website's original intented purpose was to provide an online eduational resource that aides the teaching of local history, especially within South Wales, United Kingdom with aspects of teaching local history that forms a part of the National Curriculum. As a direct result of the website being formally recognised by the National Library of Wales for its ingenuity and usage of Internet technologies in support of further & higher education - 'An important part of Wales' documentary heritage'; the website is to be fully bilingual in English and Welsh.

XHTML, DHTML, Ajax, CSS, JavaScript, Flash ActionScript, PHP, MySQL Database, (Video/Audio Streams .mpeg, .wmv movie files), Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, Macromedia Fireworks MX, Macromedia Flash MX, Swish Max2, Adobe Photoshop, Fuji Film S5 Pro DSLR / S7000 digital Camera. JVC Everio HDD Camcorder; Socusoft flv Player. The development of this website has been completely hand-coded using Dreamweaver software as a background tool.
